The Meck Christmas Trail

Remember the true meaning of Christmas through a nostalgic, self-guided experience on the Meck Christmas Trail. Located on Meck's physical campus, the Meck Christmas Trail will walk you through the Christmas story in the Bible as we reflect on the season and wait in anticipation for what's to come - Jesus! 

After the reflective walk on the trail, we invite you to complete the experience by visiting The Grounds Bookstore and Café, where there will be a continued festive experience, delicious drinks and treats, kid-friendly activities, and more. 

Meck Christmas Trail Hours:
December 1 - December 19
Sunday | 7:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Monday - Thursday | 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

*The trail experience will not be open outside of these hours.

THE MECK TRAIL

The Meck Trail, located on Meck's physical campus, is a beautiful walking trail available all year long. Meck Christmas Trail FAQs

The Meck Christmas Trail is located on the Meck Trail at Meck's physical campus (8335 Browne Rd. Charlotte, NC 28269). The entrance to the trail can be found along the treeline on the opposite side of the parking lot from the building. You'll see the start of the trail from the edge of the parking lot as well as an arbor that marks the beginning of the trail (map below). 

Yes! The trail is stroller friendly. You are also welcome to bring your pet, we just ask that you pick up after them!

To ensure the best possible experience, our trail hours follow our building hours (listed below). This allows access to seating, restrooms, and information. The Grounds Bookstore and Café, Meck in-house coffee shop, also follows these hours if you would like to grab a cup of coffee or delicious treat before or after your trail visit.

Sunday | 7:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Monday - Thursday | 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The trail is just under one mile in length. The Meck Christmas Trail, a self-guided, audio walkthrough of the Christmas story, will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.
