About MecKidz

MecKidz is the children’s program of Mecklenburg Community Church. We serve kids birth through fifth grade by partnering with parents to lead kids to know, love, and serve Jesus.

We believe that church should never be boring! Your kids will laugh, play, and have a blast as they learn about a God who loves them. You can join us online or in person. Either way, the experience is designed for your child to engage through games, music, dance, challenges, and more. Your kids will love it!

At Meck, we believe kids can choose to become a follower of Jesus. Which means kids can and should get baptized! If you think your child is ready for this important next step, you and your child will need to take the MecKidz Baptism Orientation class. Check out the MecKidz Baptism Orientation informational page and learn about the next baptism orientation and celebration.

We believe baptism should follow a conscious decision to become a follower of Jesus. Because of that, we do not baptize babies. Instead we offer Baby Dedication, an event for parents of babies to come together with the church and commit to raising their child in a Christ-centered home. Fill out the Baby Dedication Interest Form to learn more about this next step for your child.
