Serve at REALIFE

You can make a difference in the lives of high schoolers.

This is a place for high-schoolers to explore the Christian faith, connect with friends and have a great time. Opportunities range from prepping for our weekly meeting to working directly with students.

REALIFE

Come make an impact.

REALIFE currently meets Wednesdays from 7 - 8:30 p.m. Leaders arrive at 6 p.m. to meet before students arrive (or earlier, if you want to come and help set up). Leaders can serve in a variety of capacities, from task-oriented to relationally-orientated roles. Some leaders do both. You could serve checking students in, serving food, leading games, helping with production or worship, or simply be free to build relationships with students to lead them closer to Jesus.

No matter how you serve at REALIFE, our primary goals are to help students know they matter, they belong, and God wants to help them live their best lives possible. If that excites you, check out the ways you can serve, then fill out the REALIFE Volunteer Interest form below.

Perform tasks in the Meck office or at home throughout the week to serve behind-the-scenes in a much-needed role.

Builds relationships with students in attempt to encourage them in their faith. Takes co-ownership with another REALIFE leader of a specific age and gender of students.

Helps with games and skits at REALIFE.

Create graphics for series, events, social media, and more.

The Grounds is open from 6 - 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday nights. The Grounds requires additional training to make and serve coffee drinks. You will be asked to cross-train with our Grounds staff prior to serving.

Helps maintain safety at REALIFE. Monitor the premises and know where emergency supplies are located.

Call parents of students who are new to REALIFE each week.

Coordinate and oversee YouVersion Bible studies for leaders and students. Includes quick daily check-ins to foster community with the students.

Captures and edits pictures and videos for REALIFE at various programs and events.

Set up REALIFE between 4 - 6 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons. Tear down is from 8:30 - 9 p.m.

The Snack Shack is open from 6 - 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday nights. The Snack Shack provides free food as well as drinks, snacks and candy for students.

Create content for Instagram and interact with our followers.

Welcome students as they get dropped off, open doors for students, assist with check-in and meet new students to show them around.

Help and/or participate with worship, dance, lighting, sound, production, camera and more.

Attend our YouTube scheduled stream of the weekly message, Wednesdays from 6:50 - 7:25 p.m. Moderate the chat space and interact with online attenders.
