Medical Missions Ministries

In the breathtakingly beautiful countryside of Guatemala, amid volcanoes, forests, deserts, mountains, valleys, and lakes, small teams will partner with the doctors and staff at Medical Missions Ministries (MMM) to travel to remote villages to offer both medical and spiritual restoration to those in need.  Despite all that beauty in the country, in these villages, the people who live there only get the opportunity to see a doctor once a year. These individuals have zero access to a hospital and are unable to see a doctor regularly. Most of them cannot feed their families without working for long hours, so they are faced with the choice of not working, and traveling long distances to see a physician or putting food on the table to feed their families. 

During our one week trip, we will help run a clinic by running patients to and from the doctor and dentist, playing with the children, helping to fill prescriptions, and praying with and for the patients who attend the clinic. 

*You do not need to have any medical experience to participate in this trip, however doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals are welcome.
