Crisis Assistance in Charlotte, NC is a place for families facing financial crisis and have nowhere else to turn to. Through our partnership, as well as others, Crisis Assistance is able to help prevent homelessness and help families in need.
Help us serve the working poor in Charlotte, as well as meet other Meck attenders, while serving one of the greatest needs of our community.
This serve day involves working in either the free store or the warehouse to sort clothing donations, perform quality control checks, and hang clothing to get them ready for the free store floor. These serve days are typically on the second Saturday of the month from 9 – 11 a.m.
Closed-toed shoes are required to participate in this serve day. Meet at the Spratt Street location and arrive by 8:50 a.m. in order to gather as a team at the volunteer entrance.
