GATE Pregnancy Resource Center

GATE Pregnancy Resource Center is one of Meck's local Missions 2.0 partners with clinics in both Harrisburg and Concord. GATE provides prenatal care (including ultrasounds) to expecting mothers as well as an "Earn While You Learn" program which helps them build personal and parenting skills. They also provide advocates, a coaching program for both expectant mothers and fathers that extends through the baby's first year of life, and a free boutique for expectant families to shop. GATE shows the love of Christ and the gospel message with each of their clients by connecting expecting mothers to local churches and communities where support can continue beyond the client's time with GATE.

The programs are designed to encourage the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual life of their clients. This organization relies on donations for their boutique and volunteers to keep their programs running. Serving opportunities for GATE would be on an individual basis. GATE is seeking volunteers for administrative help, nurses to do ultrasounds, advocates, coaches, Dad coaches and boutique helpers. Training will be provided for all volunteers and they ask volunteers to dedicate at least 4 hours a week.
