Crisis Assistance Ministry (CAM) in Charlotte, NC is a place for families facing financial crisis. The mission of CAM is to provide aid to those facing financial hardship and to provide the resources needed for families to become self-sufficient.
A serve day at Crisis Assistance Ministry involves working alongside others in either the free store or the warehouse sorting clothing donations, performing quality control checks, and hanging clothes to get them ready for display in the free store. These serve days are typically on the first Saturday of the month from 9 – 11 a.m.
Closed-toed shoes are required to participate in this serve day. You will meet at the Spratt Street location at 8:50 a.m. and gather as a team at the volunteer entrance prior to entering the building.
