Team Life

Team Life is designed to teach you about Meck and what makes up our DNA—our mission, vision and values. It also serves as our membership class where you can learn more about joining our mission to help spiritual explorers become fully devoted followers of Christ.Meck is made up of people from many different spiritual backgrounds; some with extensive church backgrounds, others who are brand new to church and many in between. Knowing this, we designed the class to clearly explain the history and heart of Meck, and what it means to be a member.There are both online and in person options for this class.

Pray Without Ceasing

Pray Without Ceasing

When we encounter prayer in the Bible or in the lives of great Christian men and women throughout history, we find it associated with power, deep intimacy, healing and peace. Yet for many of us, prayer feels like nothing more than an unspoken wish list, an awkward silence, random ramblings, or an eventual detour into your to-do list or weekend plans. We can often feel like we're doing it wrong, or worse, that no one is listening. In this class, we'll explore the multi-faceted nature of prayer; namely, how it allows us to abide in God, listen to Him, speak with Him, and be changed by Him. We will unpack some of the mysteries of prayer while practicing it for ourselves and with others. And we'll learn what the command to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:16) looks like in our current cultural moment. We hope this class serves as the beginning or the continuation of your own rich and personal prayer life with God. NOTE: This class is a part of a larger study called "A Well-Ordered Life" - a multi-year study, comprising eight separate series, in which we look at what it might mean for us to communally model our lives after Jesus in our modern context. While this is part of a series of classes, participants can take this as a standalone course.

Rooted: Foundations of a Strong Marriage

Marriage is an incredible gift. Nevertheless, when the honeymoon ends and the rest of your life together begins, it takes time and intentionality to keep your marriage strong. How do you navigate conflict? How do you demonstrate love and respect? How do you balance your time? In this 3-session, in-person course, we'll talk about how to build a marriage with such deep roots that when the trials and challenges of life come your way, your relationship will stand firm.

CREW Training Camp (2nd - 3rd Grade)

Do your kids love watching CREW dance on the weekends? During this class, they will not only get to learn the moves they see CREW perform each weekend, but they’ll also explore how we can worship God through dance and song.  This class is currently full. Do you love how movies can transform an actor into a member of The Walking Dead? Join us this week as we learn to create our own zombie makeup looks while examining three stories in the Bible where God defeated death and brought someone back to life! This class is currently full. In this class we are going to learn about some of those miracles and use science experiments to better understand why they are so amazing and what they teach us about Jesus!
