Carry Me

Jesus came to earth on an all out rescue mission. His life, death, and resurrection paved a way for us to not only experience eternal life in heaven but also experience life in this world to the fullest. The song "Carry Me" was inspired by a passage in the Bible in the book of Isaiah chapter 46. God makes a very important promise to us all, "Listen to me... You whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you" (Isa. 46:3-4). And then God goes on to say, "Remember this, keep it in mind, take it to heart, you rebels. Remember the former things... (v. 8-9). God promises to not only save our life but also transform it. This can all begin when we finally let Jesus carry us instead of blindly groping through life on our own.
