Galatians: A New Way of Being Human

In the Bible is a letter written by the Apostle Paul to a group of churches in Galatia (modern-day Turkey). Without mincing words, Paul writes passionately and directly, fighting to help the new Christians leave their old way of life behind, reject legalism, and embrace a completely different way of being human. His letter explores the transformation that takes place when we put our faith in Christ, while also acknowledging the real and ongoing battle between “the Flesh” and the Holy Spirit. Centuries later, his warnings and advice are just as timely for the universal church. In this study, we’ll walk verse by verse through this letter, mining all of its treasures for our lives.
