The first step in entering a relationship with God is to declare "I believe" - a proclamation of both trust and faith. But what comes next? This 4-week, in-person class is dedicated to answering that question and helping Christians experience the full richness of a life led by God. If you recently said "I believe", this class will provide a roadmap for where you're headed. If it's been ages since you said "I believe", this class will reorient you toward a Christ-filled life.Sundays, June 4 - 25 | 9:30 - 10:50 a.m.
Team Life is designed to teach you about Meck and what makes up our DNA—our mission, vision and values. It also serves as our membership class where you can learn more about joining our mission to help spiritual explorers become fully devoted followers of Christ.Meck is made up of people from many different spiritual backgrounds; some with extensive church backgrounds, others who are brand new to church and many in between. Knowing this, we designed the class to clearly explain the history and heart of Meck, and what it means to be a member. There are both online and in person options for this class.
After Adam and Eve got kicked out of the Garden of Eden, God made His people a promise that He was going to give them a land flowing with milk and honey to possess and bless: the Promised Land. The only problem? Other people already lived there. In this 5-week series, we’ll dig deep into the books of Numbers, Joshua, Judges and Ruth as we examine the conquest and settlement of the Promised Land, as well as the people’s spiral into disobedience. As we study this bloody period in our faith’s history, we’ll learn a lot about God and about the heart of humankind. This class is offered at two separate times: Mondays, beginning June 26 at 7 p.m. online (no class on 7/17) Thursdays, beginning June 29 at 10 a.m. in person, with a live-streamed option (no class on 7/20) *Participants can also opt to receive the class recordings rather than attend the live classes.NOTE: The Big Picture Bible Study is an in-depth, chronological study of the whole Bible. In its entirety, it comprises 10 separate studies spread out over a two-year time frame. "The Land" is the third study in the series, but new students will get caught up in the first week.
In preparation for Meck's trip to the Holy Land in September, we invite you to attend one of our orientation classes to learn more about Israel, some of the sites you'll be exploring, what to expect, and more.
